Live Concert "Sketch A Rose" by Ha Anh Tuan, held on March 8-9 in Ho Chi Minh City, not only impressed with the music but also with the large-scale stage, especially the giant rose model measuring 20m high. To build this project, the construction team went through many challenges during the design and assembly process.

Imprint Beyond Limits - Vietnam’s Largest 20m "Sketch A Rose"

Ha Anh Tuan has just completed 2 nights of "Sketch A Rose" in Ho Chi Minh City, with the most iconic highlight being the enormous 20-meter rose structure. Measuring 25m in width, 15m in depth, and covering 500m² of surface area, this 20-ton masterpiece is the largest of its kind ever built in Vietnam. The construction team used hundreds of tons of bent steel for the frame, over 5,000m² of artistic fabric, and a reinforced truss system to ensure safety during performances. The project took 10 days to complete, involving 80 workers, with 20 people working around the clock during the final week.

A 44m Rotating Stage System

Adding to the spectacle, the stage featured Vietnam’s largest-ever centerless rotating platform, with a diameter of 44 meters. This innovative system was built using 1,000 curved steel beams (4×8), 500 floor panels, and a specially programmed motor system. The unique centerless mechanism created an extraordinary rotating effect, enhancing the stage’s dynamic visuals.

Assembling the rose and turntable requires a special transport system, using a 150-ton crane to precisely position each part.

Before the show, a sudden storm with heavy rain and strong winds hit the outdoor venue. However, thanks to well-calculated load distribution and a reinforced technical structure, the 20-meter rose remained intact and undamaged. The construction team worked relentlessly, even under challenging weather conditions, to ensure the concert proceeded as planned.

3D Mapping & Premium Sound Technology for an

Immersive Experience

To elevate the visual and auditory experience, the concert integrated high-luminance 3D mapping technology using Panasonic RQ50K and RZ34K projectors, perfectly synchronizing visuals with live performances. The JBL sound system met international standards, delivering a world-class audio experience for the audience.
